This was precisely what Geling Auto Parts Co., Ltd. planned for its employees: a memorable two-day excursion to Suzhou, blending team-building with cultural exploration. Suzhou, renowned for its classical gardens, waterways, and rich history, proved to be the perfect backdrop for fostering camaraderie and relaxation.

Day 1 Overview

Morning - Tianping Mountain

The adventure began at Tianping Mountain, a destination famed for its autumn foliage and tranquil ambiance.Known as a haven for hiking enthusiasts, Tianping offers trails that lead to stunning vistas and serene spots perfect for reflection. The team explored the iconic maple forest and paused to appreciate the poetry engraved on ancient stones—a tribute to Suzhou's literary heritage.

Afternoon - Luzhi Ancient Village 

Next stop: Luzhi Ancient Village, a living museum of Jiangnan culture. Meandering through narrow alleys and crossing arched stone bridges, the team immersed themselves in the charm of a bygone era. The village’s unique architectural style, featuring whitewashed walls and black-tiled roofs, offered endless photo opportunities and a glimpse into the region's storied past.

Evening - Diao Hua Mansion 

As evening fell, the group visited the stunning Diao Hua Mansion. This intricately designed building showcases traditional Suzhou craftsmanship, with elaborate wood carvings and ornate furnishings. The mansion served as a reminder of the city’s artistic legacy and left everyone in awe of its timeless beauty.

Day 2 Overview

Morning - Zhouzhuang Water Town

The second day began in Zhouzhuang, often referred to as the "Venice of the East." This ancient water town is a UNESCO World Heritage site, celebrated for its interconnected canals and well-preserved buildings. Highlights included the Twin Bridges and Shen House, where the team marveled at the harmonious blend of natural and architectural beauty.

Afternoon - Shantang Street 

A stroll down Shantang Street was like walking through a living painting. This historic street, lined with quaint shops and traditional eateries, offered an authentic taste of Suzhou. The team indulged in local delicacies like fried fish and osmanthus cake, while picking up souvenirs to commemorate the trip.
